Patricia Urqiola is considered a very strong influential designer of the Modern Design Industry. She has made her mark by designing for elite superior brands such as Moroso, Emu, De Padova, Kartell and Alessi, showing her most intriguing design ways and artistic confidence. Her style varies from strong modular to abundant chic, rich colour and texture . Her passion for design and attention to detail is visible in each piece she creates.
Looking at her designs in the lighting world it is clearly visible that she offers a creation that cannot be defined an addition to a range but a project with its own personality that makes it totally different, accentuating decorative ability.

Patricia has received renowned recognition and numerous awards such as designer of the year, Elle Décor Designer of the year awards, the Chicago Athenaeum Good Design Award and the Prize Cologne.
Since the opening of the studio in 2001 her output has been quite prolific, designing enough to furnish a large house, in and outdoors with very little effort.
